Sales Manager Diesel and Gas Engines (Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Generation and Rail) · Analyzes and monitors the markets for diesel and gas engines in China in the defined application · Prepares and follows up commercial offers together with the sales engineers in the engine factories · Negotiates with the customers and defines together the supply agreements, in cooperation with the respective departments within Liebherr · Calculates product prices for the respective inquiries and projects · Documents the sales activities in the CRM System · Collects the "Voice of the Customers" and transfers them to the Product Management and Engineering team · Drives the technical solutions for the application in cooperation with the Product Management · Examines customer technical specifications in cooperation with the Sales Engineering Team and prepares the most suitable for the customer's requirements · Discusses with the customer the technical feedbacks received from the technical office and evaluates with the customer the way to proceed · Plans sales volumes and turnover within its area of responsibility and the Head of Sales · Promotes the Liebherr products in the assigned markets through customers visits and participation in conferences and international fairs
· Supports the organization, planning and execution of customer events
· Works together with all necessary internal departments at the different Liebherr sites Profile: · Degree in Engineering (preferable in Mechanical Engineering) or Business Administration (with long-term technical experience) · In-depth experience within the diesel and/or gas engine business, preferably in the field of Mining, Oil & Gas, Power Generation and/or Rail · Business Administration knowledge in costing and calculation · Basic knowledge in contract management and legal topics · Excellent knowledge and use of the MS office package · Mother language: Chinese, Excellent skills in English language, additional languages are a plus · High identification with our customers, products and the Liebherr company · Being very flexible for domestic traveling and occasional presence in the Liebherr production locations in France, Germany and Switzerland · Intercultural competence · Behaving proactively, flexible and cooperative in the daily work activities · Resilience and reliability · Confidence and persuasiveness in the contact with our customers Location: Shanghai, PRC |
